Cy-Fair FD is accepting applications for full time Paramedics.
You must complete an application, Pre-Employment Medical Screening and Consumer Report Form.
Required: Items 4-9 must be submitted through the online application to be considered a complete application.
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TDSHS EMT or AEMT with proof of enrollment in Paramedic School to be completed no later than 9/1/2022 or Paramedic, NREMT Paramedic (NRP, LP, EMT-P)
- Possession of a CPR card from the American Heart Association
- Current certification as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider
- Certification as a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS/PEPP/EPC ) provider
- Copy of Hepatitis B and/or Titer and TB test record(s)
- NIMS (National Incident Management Systems) Certification – ICS100, ICS200, ICS700 & ICS800
- Successful completion of the Cy-Fair Fire Department pre-employment assessment

- Able to handle sudden changes in work conditions and assignments
- Working knowledge of emergency operations management and tactics
